Lagrange Street is the only place to be if you enjoy Polish music, dancing and entertainment. The Polish Festival offers a music or dancing style to match your taste, whether it’s traditional or modern Polish styles. And you won’t want to miss the special events such as the pierogi-eating contest and the “Dancing With The Echoes” polka

dance contest. The best polka bands from across the Midwest entertain throughout the weekend, including such greats as A Touch of Brass, the Polish American Concert Band, Duane Malinowski and many others.

Pierogi-Eating Contest
Anyone can enter the ever-popular pierogi-eating contest. There is an entry fee of $5 with each contestant receiving a festival T-shirt. There are also first, second, and third place CASH prizes. The pierogi-eating contest is held on Saturday in the big tent at 6 pm. Fill out an entry form at the Information Booth any time before then.

“Dancing With The Echoes” Polka Dance Contest
The polka dance contest is held Sunday at 5 pm in the big tent with a 21st century twist. We will pair you with a dancer from the Echoes of Poland, give you time to practice, then hold the Polish Festival version of “Dancing With The Stars.” Fill out an entry form at the Information Booth on Sunday before 4 pm. There are first, second, and third place CASH prizes, so don’t miss out.
